As announced in our post of September 11th., EHA is now launching the new product within our development program: International Spring Hockey Academy in its Beta version.
This product takes into account our experience as well as knowledge of conditions and needs, gained during last season. Especially, needs related to school and education of our minor members as well as need for more continuous development.
Beta version of the product is developed in close cooperation with schools and educational institutions in Denmark and that is why it’s targeting mainly EHA’s members from Denmark. Product will be, of course, fully available for EHA members from all countries when Beta testing will be completed and educational program adjusted accordingly. For the time being are all events within this product organized by European Hockey Academy’s association based in Denmark.
International Spring Hockey Academy as a product is quite demanding on hosting venues. For its Beta version were there, so far, selected in all 2 venues in Slovakia and Czech republic accordingly. These venues meet high requirements of this product and shown great willingness to host and support it as well.
International Spring Hockey Academy is a part of ‘Canadian line‘ of our development program and its attendees can qualify for Canadian line’s main event – International Trip to Toronto and Ottawa in May – with first priority.
Each International Spring Hockey Academy lasts in all about 10 weeks during the school year within once-in-4-weeks event rotation. Each event (course) lasts 5 days (work week) and is attended by (the same) group of 6 students/players.
First course for first group (Group 1) within International Spring Hockey Academy takes place in Slovakia in week 42 (from October 15th to 21st 2018). As the product is in its Beta phase, attendees in Group 1 are nominated directly from among EHA’s members in Denmark. However, EHA member in any country, qualified for event within this product is welcome to attend the event upon application sent via email or phone.
