We stay in Canada during the whole Trip

The major adjustment to the program of this Trip is, that we won’t attend the originally planned tournament “The Last Dance” in Detroit (MI). We have decided to participate in another high rated tournament in category Spring AAA – 9th Annual Capital Victoria Day Classic – in Ottawa (ON) instead.

We attend the tournament in Peewee category and within the group are going to meet following teams:

PeeWee Group of 9TH ANNUAL CAPITAL VICTORIA DAY CLASSIC

  1. Rink Eye
  2. Eastern Ontario Wild Fire
  3. Ottawa Riot
  4. Casselman Pirates
  5. Ottawa Rushforth Selects 2K5
  6. European Hockey Academy ’05

In addition to the tournament in Canadian capital we try hard to arrange couple of exhibition games in category AA and AAA in Ottawa as well. All updates hereabout will be available here on site.

Only one team on the Trip

As many of you, who follows the development within EHA’s Canadian line know, it has been our goal to assembly two teams of players rated AA or higher within two age groups – 2006 and 2005.

Unfortunately, we can now see, that it won’t be possible in our first year and that is why we decided to assembly only one team for category 2005, in which there will play players rated AA or higher with y.o.b. 2005, 2006 and possibly 2007. This decision was made with regards to comply to the requirements of tournaments we are attending. Additionally, this decision should secure, that expectations of attending kids will more-less meet the real level of their opponents.

What is the “Canadian” line?

Teams for events within “Canadian” line are built with regards to preparation and selection of present EHA players as well as to opening of possibilities for new players, who are interested to join EHA’s development program and one of the teams attending the Trip to Canada. Approximately 11 of 15 attendees for each of events is chosen among present EHA players and remaining 4 spots are reserved for possible new aspirants. Are you one of the players, who are not a member of EHA yet, then now is a right time to come along.

YES, I WANT TO JOIN EHA
