Get paid. Faster. Cheaper.

It is no secret nor new for any ice hockey family: it is expensive to raise an ice hockey player. Period. One of our goals at EHA is to make it easier and also, of course, cheaper for our members – players, parents, coaches, instructors and all other members to navigate in the ice hockey world. The world that, among others, crosses geographical, cultural and also monetary borders.

To achieve the goals mentioned above, we at EHA look very closely for every opening to lower the costs. One of the cost type that we look at are the costs attached to the payment fees, exchange rate margins, exchange fees and many other different fees that are being charged by the banks and financial institutions. And make no mistake – that tiny little amount every time the currency is exchanged, the bill got paid or the international payment is done, cumulates to quite a post by the end of the day – or the year! Especially by organizations like EHA, which operates in multiple currencies around Europe and the world.

As of April 1st, 2024, EHA get partnered with PR Group Nordic ApS (Denmark), the new payments administrator. This cooperation will give us the access to faster and more flexible international payments, interbank exchange rates and no-fee currency exchanges. And what does this cooperation mean for our partners, suppliers, instructors etc.? The answer is simple: they will get paid faster – and cheaper.

The implementation of all new routines takes its time. When it comes to EHA’s new payments processing routines, we expect those to be fully implemented by May 2025, depending on the country and currency involved. If you want to know more about the impact of the new routines on you or your business, feel free to contact us for more information. (T&C apply)

What’s next? Yes, there are still challenges that we face when it comes to payments processing. To mention some of them: How to secure continuous, easier, faster and more flexible payments to our associated instructors around the globe? How to secure the access to funds for travelling youth teams and leaders? And the list goes on. The virtual and physical payment cards issuance in cooperation with our new payments administrating partner may be the answer to some of these questions. We will share more information hereabout as soon as we can. 🙂
